Proactive IT Experts is a trading name of Proactive Technology Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 15582156, with its head office in Shildon, County Durham.

For the purposes of the UK GDPR, we are the data controller for the personal data described on this page.

When you contact us we collect your name, business email address, company name and phone number. If you become a Partner we additionally hold the contact details of the people who raise support tickets with us.

Our website collects limited technical information (pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address and the device you used) to understand how the site is being used.

To reply to your enquiry, to provide the services you have asked for, and to meet our own legal and accounting obligations. We rely on legitimate interests for responding to enquiries, and on contract where we are providing a service to you.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Enquiry and marketing records are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Records relating to services we have provided are kept for the period required by our professional indemnity insurers and UK tax law.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to processing and to ask us to restrict what we do with it.

Access to personal data is restricted to staff who need it, protected by multi-factor authentication, and backed up with test-restored copies. We are, after all, an IT security company, and we would be embarrassed to get this part wrong.
